Through the years there have been several owners. Terry & Debbie Carroll purchased the Agency in 1987 and operated strictly as an Insurance Agency until 1992 when they added Real Estate services. In 1999 the Creswell Agency affiliated with Coldwell Banker the premier Real Estate franchise.

The City of Milan is located in Gibson County and is located 19 miles due North of Jackson, Tennessee and interstate 40 on the main route of U.S. 45. Milan is approximately 100 miles Northeast of Memphis and 123 miles West of Nashville. Milan's approximate population of 8,000 is the hub of a fast growing metropolitan area that encompasses a population of 12,000. Milan is a community that takes great pride in its churches, education, Industrial Partnership for education and recreation. Milan offers a community where families can both prosper and worship together.
Parks and Recreation
The City of Milan is proud of the beautiful 160 acre City Park and the activities that it provides to its citizens. The Parks and Recreation Department was established in 1984. A full-time director coordinates the activities and oversees the maintenance. A Parks and Recreation Board of local citizens is appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Board of Aldermen each year. This board acts as an advisory to the City Board.

Pavilions
the City Park has six pavilions that can be reserved for a small fee. Theses pavilions can be used without reservations; however, reservations have priority.

Swimming Pool
The Swimming Pool offers a full range of aquatic activities. The pool is open during the months of June thru August.
Home of Milan Bulldogs
The tennis courts and athletic fields are used by the Milan High School for tennis, baseball and softball programs.
Fitness/jogging/walking trail
The Park has a 10-station fitness trail with a one-half mile jogging/walking track.

Milan Events and Attractions
Frank C. Bryant Memorial Run sponsored by American Ordnance, is held annually in May.
Milan High Alumni Day is held the third weekend of June each year. Hundreds of graduates return for this annual gathering.
Milan No Till-Field Day Beginning in 2000, the No-Till Field Day will be held the fourth Thursday of July, every other year at the University of Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station located in Milan. Thousands of farmers and agribusiness representatives from across the country and around the world attend this event. Associated activities include a fashion show, golf, tennis and softball tournaments, horse show, tractor pull, stock car races, and horseshoe pitching contests.
Gibson County Fair the oldest county fair in the south, is held in August each year in neighboring Trenton .
Milan Christmas Parade is held the first Thursday of December. Participants include Milan and other area school bands, floats, antique cars, and marching groups.
Milan Education
The Milan Special School District has 2,026 students enrolled in Milan's Elementary School, Middle School and High School. All Schools are accredited by the Southern Association. We are located within 30 miles of The University of Tennessee at Martin, 20 miles from Bethel College in McKenzie, Tennessee, and 23 miles from Union University, Lane University, and Lambuth University which are all located in Jackson, Tennessee.

The Mildred G. Fields Library finds its roots in the early years of World War II. The facility has migrated through a number of facilities finally setting in its present location in the Milan Municipal Building on East Van Hook Street .
The Library consists of a main library, a children's section, genealogy room, and a library annex for meetings. A number of computes are available to the public for catalog search and research. Word processing programs are available on two machines. Microfilm and microfiche readers are available in the genealogy section.

Milan General Hospital, a member of the American Hospital Association and the Tennessee Hospital Association, is licensed by the State of Tennessee and has been approved by the Department of Health and Human Services for participation in Medicare and TennCare programs. Milan General has its own advisory board composed of citizens of City of Milan.
Milan General Hospital has been operating a 73-bed acute care facility since 1941 when it began as Clemmer Clinic. The hospital became a wholly-owned affiliate of West Tennessee Healthcare on January 1, 1998. The hospital is located at 4039 Highland Street, Milan, Tennessee. The service area spans West Tennessee, with the primary counties being Gibson and Carroll.
